Mission Our mission is to be positive, enthusiastic leaders in developing and executing a strategic plan to realize our vision: to support and work in coordination and cooperation with other development agencies and authorities in the region; and to take a leadership role in working with those inside and outside our region in order to realize our vision. Background Corridor G Regional Development Authority was created by Senate Bill 527 sponsored by Senate President Tomblin, Senator Chafin, and former Senators Wagner and Jackson. The Authority was crated to promote, develop, and advance the business prosperity and economic welfare of Lincoln, Boone, Logan, and Mingo counties, including, but no limited to, the area adjacent too Corridor G, their citizens and their industrial complex. To encourage and assist through loans, investments or other business transactions in the locating of new business and industry within the member counties. In addition, the Authority was to stimulate and promote the expansion of all kinds of business and industrial activity which will tend to advance business and industrial development and maintain the economic stability of the member counties. The Corridor G Regional Development Authority was established to provide maximum opportunities for employment, encourage thrift and improve the standard of living of citizens of Lincoln, Boone, Logan, and Mingo counties. The Authority is to cooperate and act in conjunction with other organizations, federal, state, and local, in the promotion and advancement of industrial, commercial, agricultural and recreational developments within the four counties. The authority is to furnish money and credit, land, and industrial sites, technical assistance and such other aid as may be deemed requisite to approved and deserving applicants for the promotion, development, and conduct of all kinds of business activity within Lincoln, Boone, Logan, and Mingo counties. The Authority is made up of 16 voting members and seven ex-officio members. Each county has four voting members, one of which is an elected county commissioner and the remaining three represent business interests. The directors or the county development authorities of each of the counties and the President of the Southern WV Community and Technical College are non-voting members. The object is to devise and implement a five year regional economic development plan for Lincoln, Boone, Logan, and Mingo counties.
